At Lumora Studio, we enthusiastically document the beautiful love and wedding celebrations of all members of the LGBTQ+ community, as well as partners from any religious, secular, ethnic, cultural, or linguistic backgrounds. We happily accommodate wedding partners with disabilities. In short, we celebrate ALL LOVE on your terms. Your wedding day is unique to YOU, and we believe in making everyone feel safe, heard, and seen in their brightest light. Our forms are gender-inclusive, and we will have several calls before your big day to discuss your personalities, dynamics, and posing preferences so you will absolutely shine. We are also happy to recommend inclusive DJs, planners, venues, and other vendors who celebrate your love.

Our approach to photo & video combines elements of both documentary and editorial/cinematic styles. With a background in journalism, Jessica's run-and-gun style means we can move quickly and never hold up the flow of the day waiting on our gear. We aim to get the most beautiful shots possible while also letting your day unfold naturally with the people you love. We capture the real interactions, laughter, hugs, tears, and events of the day as they happen in real time, with minimal "directing". That documentary approach is paired with an eye for cinematic portraiture. At any wedding, there will be a time for formal (i.e. posed) photos. Before your wedding, we'll make a Pintrest board about your must haves, likes and dislikes when it comes to couple and family photos. But most of the day, we are there to document REAL moments, so when you look back at your photos and videos, you remember how you felt with the people you love, not the photographer telling you what to do. We focus ultimately on you, the couple, having the time of your lives, feeling like rock stars, and truly living in the moment on this joyous day. Those emotions shine through in our editing style and the photos and videos we deliver back to you. FINAL PRODUCT: Our editing style aims to be vibrant and timeless. Colors tend to be bright and true to life. Our goal is that when you look at these photos and videos 10, 20, or 30 years from not with your kids, they stand the test of time. Any images delivered in black and white are also delivered in color. In editing, we may remove a trash can or other distraction from the background of a photo, but as a policy, we do not heavily "photoshop" or use extensive AI in our editing. Nothing is there that didn't really happen in real life.

Travel to a venue is included within 2 hours of Central Orlando. This generally includes: St. Augustine, Gainesville, Space Coast, Lakeland, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Tampa, Sarasota. Travel to a venue beyond the 2-hour radius is calculated from Central Orlando to your venue at $1/mile. Travel time of 4 hours of driving or more for a wedding will be asked to provide or compensate for 1-night stay in a hotel or similar accommodation for our team, as it is not considered safe to drive 4 hours at night after working a full day wedding.

Once you have a call with Jessica and decide on the right services for you, we'll send you a contract to e-sign and return. A non-refundable retainer of 20% of your total service cost is due at the time of signing the contract. This secures your date on our calendar and is subtracted from your package balance. Once we receive the contract and deposit, you're officially on our books for your wedding!

- Do you record audio with your videos? Yes, absolutely. We record natural audio throughout the day (laughter, chit chat), and professional audio for your first looks, ceremony, reception and speeches. We do this by using both independent pocket label mics placed on the speaker's clothing (yes we can mic a white dress) and plugging a recording device into the DJ's speaker system, capturing everything coming out of the speakers. If needed we can also record acoustic music like violin or guitar separately with a small local recorder. You first looks, ceremony, speeches, and dances will all have professionally-recorded audio. - Can we choose our own music for our video? Due to copyright law, we cannot use popular music for professional wedding videos. They will be flagged on the internet and blacklisted. We subscribe to a service that licenses music to us and compensates the artist for the use of their original work. We aim to match music beautifully to the vibe of the wedding day and use the tune to drive emotion and underlie the narration of your vows and guest's speeches.

Sneak Peak Photos are delivered within 3-5 business days of your wedding. Teaser Reel videos are delivered within 3 weeks of your wedding. We aim to have ALL of photos and videos in your hands within 12 weeks of your ceremony. Our average wedding is delivered in 8-10 weeks. Consideration is appreciated around the holidays when Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Years may add a few extra weeks for delivery, and May/June when our busiest season leads to longer editing queues and potentially longer wait times. Any wait on delivered materials longer than 6 months will, per our contract, result in a partial refund to the couple. We will never make you wait months and months for YOUR photos you have already paid for.
